Permanents

"Not enough brevets on the calendar?"

Try a permanent! Permanents are similar to brevets but any RUSA member can ride a permanent at any time, not just on a specific date. Permanents count toward RUSA distance awards, including the R-12, but generally cannot be used to qualify for BRM events.

For more information on riding a permanent, check out http://www.rusa.org/permfaq.html, and for the RUSA Rules on riding permanents, be sure to read http://www.rusa.org/prmreg.html.
